FIRST Day

What is FIRST DAY?

FIRST Day is a local Brownsburg event, where individuals will have the opportunity to learn about FIRST and robotics. Throughout the day there will be live robotic demos, a robotics competition, food, games and more! The event will be hosted by Team 3176 in collaboration with the Brownsburg West Middle School.

What is FIRST?

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a organization determined to spread STEM through robotics competition. Team 3176 competes in FIRST Robotics Competition every year, and uses FIRST Day as way to get more of the community involved.

Competition Details

As mentioned, FIRST Day will be hosting a live robotics competition. Since August, students at BWMS have been developing their own lego robotics to complete a given set of challenges. On FIRST Day these students will compete head to head, earning points and awards for the challenges their robot can accomplish. For more information, click here.
